This is the BMW M140i which uses the B58 engine, a 3.0 straight 6 petrol turbo engine with a twinscroll turbo. It's the updated version of the M135i which used the arguable more tuneable N55 engine.
This particular car came in for installation of the BMS intake we supplied and the BMS JB4, complete with rolling road testing. The car also had the MPE (M Performance Exhaust) fitted so sounded fantastic with the decat installed.
At the minute, the B58 struggles with fuelling so map 1 is the safest map to use until there is an upgrade system available. That said, map 1 still produced brilliant power without the need for more!
