A car you don't often see on UK roads is the Jaguar XF-R with the 5.0 V8 supercharged engine. This car is owned by somebody who we've done a lot of work for in the past, most recently we remapped his BMW E91 which was sold to make way for the Jaguar (two very different cars!)
If you understand how supercharged cars work, you'll know that peak power is right at the end of the rpm range, so driving the car on the road requires full use of the rpm range to achieve that power. One of the major benefits of our CustomPro remap software is how much earlier peak power is introduced. When standard, the car produced 471 bhp at 6,400 rpm, once tuned, the car makes the same amount of power at 5,100 rpm, then continues to climb right through until the rev limiter. As well as this, the dip in power and torque in the mid range is gone and pulls strong thoughout the whole rpm range.
Power gained: 73 bhp
Torque gained: 100 nm @ 4,300 rpm
