This Mitsubishi L200 is the 2.5 turbo diesel model with a manual gearbox and is owned by the father in law of somebody who has had many cars tuned with us in the past. The idea behind the stage 1 remap was to really focus on improving torque in the low rpm where the customer was describing it as "laggy". With it being such a heavy, "agricultural" vehicle, this didn't surprise us, so concentrated on really improving that area of the rpm.
As you can see on the graph, the standard power delivery around the 3,000 rpm mark isn't what you would describe as smooth. Obviously this isn't an area which you would spend much time on this vehicle, but the power and torque delivery after are now much smoother.
Power gained: 35 bhp (peak to peak)
Torque gained: 87 nm
